Darryl Mathieson

I'm a fourth year PhD student in Philosophy at ANU where I work with Victoria McGeer, Frank Jackson, and Daniel Stoljar. I also work as an Associate Lecturer in the School of Philosophy. My main area of specialization and interest is consciousness, and my thesis is on the subjectivity of experience. My background is in philosophy and psychology, with a lot of my work sitting at their intersection. I write on a range of topics within the philosophy of mind, psychology, and psychiatry including schizophrenia, the functions of consciousness, epiphenomenalism about consciousness, the hard problem of consciousness, and inner awareness.
